Grinding

Blanchard Grinding: Offering rotary style grinding in 2, 4 and 6 side finishes to +/-.003 and flat and parallel to .001 per foot. We have the ability to Blanchard grind in excess of 100" in length. This process can economically produce surfaces of 125 RMS.
Mattison Grinding: This process of surface grinding is more precise than Blanchard grinding. This can produce steel plate products with +/-.0001 thickness tolerance and surfaces of 64 RMS or better.
Planner Milling: This uses a rotary milling head or single point that is use for larger applications and has the ability produce items similar precision of Blanchard grinding. The surface will have a machined style appearance.
